On behalf of the Governing Body, I would like to welcome you to North Cave CE Primary School. Our aim is to ensure that the school provides your child with a first class education. The school works extremely hard to promote equal opportunities for all children, including those with special needs or specific gifts and talents and all pupils are well supported to make good progress.
Although not directly involved in the day to day running of the school, along with the headteacher, the Governors are ultimately responsible for ensuring that the school delivers the highest standard of education for all pupils in an inclusive, safe and caring environment. The Governing Body has a wide range of members representing parents, staff, the local community, the local church and the Local Authority. Through our regular committees, we are responsible for reviewing all of the work of the school and discuss aspects such as educational achievement across the curriculum, the Christian ethos and the school budget.
The Governing Body work extremely hard to support the school and ensure your children are provided with a range of high quality and exciting educational opportunities. If you would like to learn more about our work, please do not hesitate to contact me.
